How long after the 341 Meeting of Creditors do you have to wait for a PACER update?

The amount of time it takes for PACER to be updated is at the bankruptcy trustee’s discretion. There are, however, a few rules of thumb to keep in mind. Your discharge will not appear in PACER for at least sixty days after your 341 Meeting, and it’s usually a good idea not to expect it on day sixty either. There is some consensus that Trustee’s will update PACER within a few days after discharge.

Having said all this, it’s generally idea to let your attorney worry about PACER and what the updates mean. There are some advantages to registering for a PACER account, though, such as obtaining a copy of the discharge order on demand. There are also some disadvantages, such as not understanding the filings that post to PACER and mistaking them for something terrible.
